Students are still writing their sentences without the use of capital letters or proper punctuation. Starting this week, if students use the verbs avoir; aller; être; faire at the present tense, the should be able to conjugate them correctly. The use of their "les verbes" duo-tang is encouraged. 2- Read in French 10 min per day. 3- Review sounds in "le cahier de sons". 4- Review the verbs at the present tense : avoir; aller; faire et être. Sciences Humaines; 1- Test will go home tomorrow to get signed. 2- We started to talk about "la culture". If your child does not bring any homework home, you should ask them why. They should review daily work at home. Huntsman Marine Centre permission slip and 2$ are due this Friday for Mme Rossignol's class. Français;
1- Spelling test needs to be corrected if needed (write 5 times the incorrect word on the test) and be signed. 2- Sentences are due tomorrow. 3- Read in French 10 minutes per day or at least 4 times a week. 4- Grammar : Review the "verbes irréguliers au présent" (avoir; être; aller; faire). 5- Le son "ê-è" . This sound is pronounced the same as "est" in Le garçon est beau! 5- Level reading : Students are being tested on reading levels this week. The appropriate level for grade 6 late immersion at this time would be "C". By the first report card in November, they should be at levels D-E or F. Sciences Humaines; 1- Test on "les capitales et la rose des vents" was given back. Test needs to be signed and returned. You will see 2 marks on it. One is for using the "directions" properly (North; South; East; West,etc.) and the other one is for being able to write capitals on a map. 2- There will be a test on "Les continents et les océans" this Thursday for both classes.
